From my pedestal I see a ginja cherry shaking !!!

In honor of the (Tribute to) Marquês de Pombal, to whom Lisbon owes its reconstruction after the great earthquake on November 1, 1755, that resulted in the almost complete destruction of the city, especially the downtown area. The Marquês de Pombal square is a symbol of the ability to sacrifice and regenerate of the Lisbon people and is today the center of modern Lisbon, venue for large celebrations and festivities of the city.
